5 Week introduction to clay course
for kids 7-12 years
Saturdays from Aug 8 - Sept 5 - 10am - 12 pm
Join us for a 5-week course designed especially for children. Through playful exploration of clay, young makers will learn the foundations of hand-building techniques and create their own unique pottery projects in a supportive and encouraging environment.Working with clay offers far more than just artistic skills. Pottery helps children develop patience, perseverance, and adaptability. Through experimenting, problem-solving, and refining their ideas, children build confidence in navigating challenges and discovering solutions.
Throughout the course, children will learn basic pottery techniques, explore texture and form, and develop their own artistic ideas while creating a range of functional and decorative pieces to take home.
No previous experience is needed—just curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to get a little messy!
